I love the way these white-tailed deer move silently through the forest behind my home .. One minute you see them, the next minute they have blended into the forest and seemingly disappear. I live surrounded by 100 acres of conservation land next to a river - I treasure the peace, solitude and the glimpses of wild animals and birds here.
