Happy St. Davids Day with Daffodils and Snow

The Daffodil is a traditional emblem of Wales. If everybody is Irish on St. Patricks Day (March 17) then everybody is Welsh today (March 1).

Saying Good-Bye. The old-fashioned red entry door to my son-in-law and daughters' old-fashioned house..Heading back home after an overnight visit to beat today's snowstorm.

Overcast and wet. One block from the ocean where my daughter lives, the "big storm" was only rain and it was above freezing...But we are heading north and inland.

Back at Home ~ Summer Chair in the Snow. It has been actually sunny and mild enough sometimes during this unusual winter to be tempted to sit on our deck and pretend that winter never happened at all... But not today.

Sitting by a cozy fire in our fireplace is the best place to be, as the snow falls heavily outside.
