Strawberry Jaffa Cakes

No, your eyes do not deceive you; it really says Strawberry Jaffa Cakes! This is a special edition, currently available in Tesco (as of 4 June 2009). Almost identical to the normal version, but instead of orange jelly it has strawberry instead.

To be honest I can barely taste the strawberry; I also think the cake part is slightly gummier than usual, and that the fruit part is smaller than usual too.

I think I now prefer the LU PIMs instead, their pear and raspberry flavours are nicely done, and I think the chocolate and cake parts are of better quality.

P.S. The picture is a bit of a cheat; I scanned the packaging ;)
