The Blacksmith

I don't know what you see here, but I think this one looks like a blacksmith, working hard at his forge. Motes of fire and flames all around him.

Of course in reality it's fire, my barbecue to be precise ;)

The barbecue was good. I tend to cook meat for several days at once to maximise use of the charcoal. So today I cooked some homemade lamb patties, chicken breasts and sausages. The lamb went into fresh bread rolls for tonight. The chicken will become a Caesar Salad tomorrow, and the sausages will metamorphose into bangers and mash for the weekend!

Unless you want your fire shots to be blurry, you really need to use ISO400 or higher. At ISO100 the flames tend to move around too much during the exposure, although that can be used to good effect if you're happy to experiment a bit.
