It RAINED today. I'm sure you're wondering why I've capitalized that, and about the title, so let me elucidate.
When it rains, you vaguely think about putting on something waterproof, but you don't worry unduly. When it Rains, an umbrella will prevent you from getting soaked, but otherwise you might wish you weren't walking in it. When it RAINS, you shelter under something solid to prevent getting flattened or drowned ;)
It RAINed today. Comprehensively. Sufficiently so that water started coming through the kitchen ceiling. The funny thing is, there's nothing wrong with the roof... We think the water actually went up underneath the lowest tiles because the volume of water coming from all sides meant it couldn't run off the roof fast enough.
The amusing thing? The Met Office didn't post a weather warning.
Anyway today's shot is one of my African Violets (Saintpaulia), this was a single leaf cutting a few months ago, now it has plenty of flowers. It's nice and dry inside!
