Blue sky thinking

The t-shirt reads "Destroy Capitalism" and displays the price of $30! I hope I don't need to point out the irony ;) Don't forget to play "spot the photographer"!

The title image "Blue Sky Thinking", clouds reflected in an office block.

Spiral staircase in The Monument.

Gorgeous lampshades in Eat! on my way to The Monument from Bank Underground station.

Just a pattern that caught my eye!

Just a collection of London shots. There was an unofficial Banksy exhibition in Covent Garden, which I wanted to see, having missed the one in Bristol a few weeks back.

I also wanted to go up The Monument, which is apparently the largest free standing stone tower in the world. It commemorates the Great Fire of London back in 1666, which started in the shadow monument. The main reason I wanted to see it was the spiral staircase. I'm not sure why they hold such a fascination for me, but they do. More on The Monument here.

Between the Bansky exhibition and The Monument I managed to throw myself onto the road very hard indeed. Thankfully I was crossing on a crossing that was in my favour. Unfortunately I completely destroyed my phone, bruised myself quite a bit and wrecked a pair of trousers too. I very nearly ended up upside down, my glasses just kissed the tarmac. The passers by were a mixture of horrified, surprised and impressed. Afterwards I was sufficiently stunned that I nearly walked straight into the building opposite... so, not ideal ;) I'm fine now other than a few scrapes and bruises. No doubt my adventures will be in the City of London CCTV Christmas party video ;)
