One of my favourite photos, taken at Montecassino in Italy in 2006. There are about fifteen or twenty hairpin bends on the way up to the monastery, but the view from the top is worth it. The day we were there it was about 35 degrees Celsius in the city, but lovely and cool at the top of the mountain!

Our residence in Rome had a fabulous flat roof, but was covered in scaffolding! So this was the sunset through the green gauze.

The frost was ferocious in November 2006; this was taken at around 11am but the ground and trees were still frozen solid in the shade.

This was taken with my cameraphone, hence the low pixels, but was all I had on me when out for a walk at sunset one late Spring evening

These are just a selection of photos I've been taking over the last three years or so, some are with my first Kodak camera, some are taken with my Nokia cameraphone and the few closeups of flowers were taken with a fabulous Olympus camera that I've completely fallen for!

I love the games of the light on no9 and the shadows on no19.
Nice set of photos.
