This sums up August so far in Ireland!
Half of Munster* was under water the day I took this picture (sometime last week), with the entire average monthly rainfall tipping down in a couple of hours.
And if floods aren't a good enough excuse for being late, the
monkey running amok on the N11 this morning should do the job!
The whole country's gone mad!
