First (decent) Holga shots
2008.09.02
This one is cropped a little, but I love that even the crappy plastic lens on the Holga can keep the girls in sharp focus in the foreground and not focus on the background. It also came through a bit blurry on the scan.

Accidentally forgot to wind on here, but it looks okay... not sure what the second shot was supposed to be!

As some of you may have seen here, I was given the gift of a Holga a while back. I set about messing with it straight away, firstly with 35mm film and then with 120. All my efforts with 35mm were completely rubbish and I was sorely tempted to leave the Holga to gather dust on my shelf for all eternity.
However the 120 attempts were much better (when I say much better, I mean passable). These shots were taken at the Chocolate Festival, which you also might have seen here. I must have looked like a right nutter wandering around with two cameras hanging out of me!
Anyway, result! A better result on paper I think; the bluriness only comes through on the scan.
Took me nearly two hours to install, reinstall and finally properly configure the scanner to my Mac.... bleh. Technology wrecks my head sometimes.
