Solstice 2008

2008.12.21


Last year I stood outside Newgrange at 8.40 in the morning and waited for the sun to rise over the hill and across the valley to the monument, into the lightbox and up the passageway to the chamber. And so the sun did.
This year, not so lucky. We, along with about a hundred others, stood outside again and waited, but it was far too cloudy this time round.
