I hope the picture says - "A Bored Pet" :-)

Bad start of a great long weekend.

had a very late night yesterday with friends and lot of spicy starters and food at a very odd time - and not so surprisingly, my system revolted. Had tremendous food poisoning sort of thing and fever too to add a cherry on top..... so no long drives - no outdoor photo-ops... and our doggy Toffee was very disappointed too to miss his weekly outing !!

on top of that my son was not paying much attention to him either - so he settled for an untimely nap!!

I have very less energy for anything else today, so wanted to record this - just didn't want to let one day go without a photograph taken... let's hope something better for tomorrow!

Used 10-22 for a change. handheld shot. Flash used - bounced off the ceiling... I am yet to learn off camera flash operations :-(

JustineSo A bit harsh... probably not in the mood. Hehehe. But I would call this "A Boring Picture". I'm just joking. It's just that for me this is a snap shot.

Sorry for my comment above. I did not read the entire story before commenting. Hehehe. Anyways, you said it yourself... too tired to take a great Photograph. Well it really did show in the image.

Just be aware that using a Wide Lens is not easy. It takes practice to master due to the fact that our eyes sees differently. Like a telephoto Lens which is kind’ a familiar because if we want to zoom, we can walk closer. But we can never see the world like a Wide Lens do.

When it comes to using your Flash in this image, you made the correct decision on bouncing it off the ceiling. :)

Just a side note... personally, I hate Mineral Water Bottles in the picture. They are like invisible things when you're taking a shot but suddenly appear when you view the finished image. :( Now, I automatically look for these critters and try to remove them before I take an image.

TCLearning ha ha ha - i almost knew this is a bogus shot. But I still learnt a lot from your comments. Yes - i also have a feeling that I have never used the wide angle lens properly yet. Will have to explore the possibilities... something to look forward to.
I have noted that you are not in a good mood. May be it is not connected but i also saw a few pics on fb of your little darling with a bandage on his head. Is he alright? what happened ? Wish him a very speedy recovery.

JustineSo About my son… he had an accident at home. He’s walking, suddenly fell and hit his forehead on this metal bar protruding behind the IKEA Sofa Bed. We went to NMC Hospital and have his cut stitched. It really was a gruesome experience. Now we are like his shadow following him around, stressed out… it’s like we have this Babiaxidentaphobia (I made that up… Hehehe).
