Tami!!! You cant say something like that and then not actually tell us the secret!!!...lol..supposedly sugar n the water helps flowers last longer.... gorgeous flowers! I love star lilies except last time i had them in the house the kitten got the pollen all over his mouth and nose :(

Ok, do tell ;-) As a flower gardener I must know. My stargazers and other asiatic lilies will be in bloom before long! These are beautiful.

Those really are pretty. You're brave for keeping the stamen (is that right? The thing in the middle) on! That pollen stains like a mofo

Secret to keeping flowers fresh...I've heard sugar, sprite, trimming the stems every day...and the last one is blood. Supposedly the oxygen in blood is good for plants. When Cyndi was in school, she used to practice drawing my blood. We didn't send it to the lab...we fed it to the plants!
