I could have Photoshoped this thing to death, however, I decided to let this one speak for itself. You are viewing a raw, as taken shot of WWII Bomb Bunkers in McGregor Texas. The mystic, almost eerie feel of this shot is brought on by dusk and a light mist beginning to fall.

The US Government built and stored WWII bombs in hundreds of these bunkers. Later, private munitions companies used the facility to build sidewinder missiles etc.

chipotle i used to live not too far from pantex. it had a similar series of bunkers. i tried not to think too hard about it.

this is a great capture. the conditions are just perfect for the shot.
