I found these in my archives the other day, taken last summer in St. Petersburg.
I had snuck up on the Blue Heron and photographed him up close before he flew away!
The little guy in the second photo was more of a challenge since he kept running away from me so I had to zoom in a little too much to my liking. He was an interesting bird that walked real funny on the grass.
