One of the best things since becoming self-employed for the very first time in 8 years is the flexibility. I've never quite appreciated the ability to just take a holiday whenever I want to travel and just visit mates. The downside to that of course is that with no work comes no income. Also, trying to squeeze as much as I possibly can into the space of a long weekend might not be the best thing to do after a gruelling fortnight. Still, I think my 4 short days in Portugal were very well spent and it was a great experience to step back a few centuries into the old world. And a big thank you to Nancy, Carlos, Immaculata and the kids for the warm hospitality.
Pictures taken at Mao, a club in Lisbon and possibly the quietest club I've been into for a long time no doubt due to the tropical rain that day. Interestingly, Mao translated from the Portuguese means bad.
