"Oh stop that self deprecation nonsense!!" LOL I think you did well... editing faces with any kind of 'painterly' effect is REALLY difficult (in my humble opinion). Do you have this link? It's one of my favorite tutorials when I start playing around and turns out similar to this where you can have part of it quite blurred and part of it quite sharp. DancingDolphin · 2010-10-27: 15:53

Great portrait - I don't know you personally, but it looks like you I'm sure - and the 'voice' you share here is certainly reflected in your smile. Thanks for sharing this. changing topic, I have photochromatic lenses in my specs too - and they really annoy me when I'm taking photos. They make it so hard to judge brightness levels!
