Reply ⇔ HDR Witch's house
Great effect on the B&W... this is exactly how I've always imagined a haunted house would look like in a twisted fairytale.
Thank u

None of these have been touched much at all. I took the originals into the simplest photo browser (free, I might add) Faststone Image Viewer, where I rotated some of the photos, resized them, applied the ittiest bit of sharpening (like the smallest I could apply) then applied a drop shadow. That's it. No, not using raw here. Not even using the "fine" mode on the Fuji 5600. Just the standard 5mp effort. I still love this little camera as a "take everywhere" even though I have far more sophisticated bits of kit. I could rave on about it for pages! It can be used fully manually, aperture or shutter priority, a very easily "moved" program mode, a histogram that flashes away showing over/under exposed areas... blah blah... |

Lush! I never thought there'd be so much green in the Carribean... surely there must be a mango tree in there somewhere! :)
You'll be satisfied, my friend, if you come, you'll find ... many mango trees!!!

#1's great. More to come?... Boston, here I come!
Just added to the set... the architecture is wonderful. So varied! So far, all these shots were taken within about 2 km of each other up one main street, basically.

I will post some more of Boston soon. Great city. I could happily live there.

Reply ⇔ Do you have gramophone?
Very creative but... why is it in colour?!? :)
:) I have a reason. it looks better in colour. b&w doesn't really work (I should work too much in PS to improve too shiny white and boring grays)

Reply ⇔ Evening
Hauntingly beautiful... what time was it when you took this?
Thanks Jack, it was about 8:30 in the evening. It was getting dark and I really didn't think it would turn out.

Happy 13th to Aminata !... and #2 is definitely a classic.
Thanks very much, my friend. I'm taking a little rest during a few days because I've been very busy... I might travel in the Caribbean, just after the coming rainy days, and come back with some nice photos to share with you! See you soon! |
