Umm Julie, I apologize in advance, but it isn't this pic that makes you weird! =) In all seriousness ... all parents have things that make us teary eyed. I think something would be wrong if we didn't get moved in some way by images of our kids! (Between you, me and the entire internet community, I get teary eyed watching slideshows I made of my family flyfishing!)

Could it be that what made you teary eyed in this picture, is that for the first time, you are seeing your little boy as a man? Off to face to world on his own? That would do it for me.
