Our First Thanksgiving in the New House
We decided to host Thanksgiving in our new home this year. Rob C's Nana flew out from Virginia. Rob M's Dad flew in from Iowa (as a last minute suprise!). Rob C's cousin Corey and his girlfriend Sid drove up from Olympia (where they go to College). Our friend Katie brought green bean casserole (oops, TWO green bean casseroles!). Auntie Joy and "Mom" came over with Chris, Nori and the kids and Shannie & Jim.
Nana cooked up a huge, amazing meal (A Traditional Stuffed Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Yams, Green Beans, Corn, Peas, Roasted Vegetables in Pumpkins, Carrots, Cheddar Cheese Soup...). Joy and Mom brought a ham, more stuffing and sweet potatoes. And Rob M's Dad brought White Mountain Rolls all the way from Iowa. Don't even get us started on dessert - see for yourselves!
