Rob C talking to the VERY helpful train ticket agent. After missing the train to Venice, we wanted to make sure we had a return trip reserved. And while we were at it, we decided to book ALL of our train trips with him. We we waited in line on day 2 with more questions, how lucky (for us) that we got the same agent...again! Nana blew him a kiss as we were leaving.

On our second day in Italy the four of us took the train into Florence planning to catch a train to Venice - but there was no room on any of the trains until that night. We were about to give up our plans and forfeit the hotel when we found a private car that would take us to Venice!
Of all the cities and towns we saw on our trip to Italy, Venice was Rob C's favorite.
