This is the Kecek Dance. Held in the open at the Uluwatu Temple. It lasts an hour, starting at 5pm and ending at 6pm, when the setting sun in the horizon becomes the perfect backdrop.

One of the highlights of my stay was this dance, the Kecek. No musical instrument is used. It is done acapella style.

Mt Batur, a mountain still full of volcanic potential at 1412m and Batur Lake in Kintamani. Taken from a restaurant where you can sit out on the balcony and take in this view. There are hikes up the mountain but I didn't do it this time because of time constraint.

The rice terraces of Ubud. Some prefer to stay here, and enjoy the peace and quiet rather than the hustle and bustle of the towns.

An offering. 3/4 of the population in Bali are Hindus, so this is a normal sight in Bali. You see it on the floor in front of shops, on the dashboards of vehicles, in houses.
