Garden Tranquility

2008.05.03
The spikey leptospermum. Nice fragrant flower but a horrible name

The canary bird rose with the blue of the bluebells in the background. It was planted above the grave of Iroquois one of our abyssinian cats.

Ripley came to see what I was doing

The dicentra is always good for a close-up

Some of our Spanish bluebells

Dandelion

The ornamental vine is gearing up for another good year. This leaf will grow four times this size and show off spectacular autumn colours

Part of our garden

The acer with its delicate stems and brilliant red leaves

MUMMoira Correction Lynda , your garden IS gorgeous.
Brilliant light. The canary roses' three stages has inspired me to paint them.
You underestimated your talent Lynda think your dicentra is better.
And Helen's very first post a nicer dandelion.
The first & last are lovely I've always admired that colour in leaves too.
Ripley the inquisitive is great too.
