I took the slow train so we had to give way to any other trains, what made us vary slow train ;-)

Ukraine is a big country :-) Maybe that us why they invented teleportation: You get asleep in Crimea and wake up in Donetsk; get asleep in Donetsk and wake up in Kyjiv and so on

I actually enjoy sleeping on the train from Kiev to Crimea when I fly in. That when I'm not jet-lagged on arrival. Platzcart isn't standard, it's sub-standard. Regular is a coupe (compartment) and luxe is deluxe. (They throw in a teeny bar of soap in the packet of sheets.) :-) Not quite teleportation! Didn't you go past the reservoir? It's beautiful, especially with the sunset or moon reflected on it.

I love train travel;
I did a 30 hour trip from Brisbane to Cairns in Australia of about 1700 km
