Roosendaal encounters

I grew up in the town of Roosendaal, a town in the south of Holland. Close to the Flemmish boarder. Went to the 'city center' today with my mom. Below is the library. I used to come there so often and also did some voluntary work there. Wish it had looked like this back then!! They really did a nice job with it.

Never saw so many kids in the library when I was growing up.

My mom (left) and me caught my sis (right), who is a travel agent there, having a coffee break. Indeed... I look nothing like them!! They were also less than amused with me taking a picture ;-)

Curious--are they loud in libraries there? Here in Norway, everyone talks loudly as normal in libraries, as the 'reading room' is the only room for quiet. Yes, it looks WARM there...sigh
