And back on my bike in the morning for a lovely cycle along the Vecht river and Maarsseveenseplassen.

It was busy with boats on the Vecht river as it promised to be a hot day (30C).

You don't often see this many big fish at the surface of the water! Very pretty. When I was taking the pic an older man also stopped to take a look at told me they are some kind of bass (or maybe bream?)
|
Our neighbourhood cat!! Normally he likes to follow us when we walk to the supermarket, but since we've been away for over a week... he's been rather pissed off! It's all our fault of course.
