For Reisgids magazine I traveled to Torino in Italy for 5 days. My friend Yvonne accompanied me. We left the house at 01:45 for Brussel Charleroi Airport and arrived in Turin at 08:30.
From our hotel we walked to the large parc along the Po river: Parco del Valentino. Beautiful park, great views and a very relaxed atmospere.

In the afternoon we visited one of the most fabulous museums of the city: the film museum. It's housed in the Mole Antonelliana tower. One of the largets brick towers in Europe. A fabulous view from the top to the Basilica di Superga.

Turin has many lovely squares, this one is particularly great: Piazza San Carlo. Our B and B was on the left of the square.
For a Reisgids article it's important to recommend hotels to the readers. For a citytrip that means visiting 16 hotels more or less (I did 15 when went to Liverpool). To make it a bit easier we were staying in a different hotel all the 4 nights that we were here.

I just looked at all your Turin pics, but I'm only commenting on one day, sorry. But it looks like a fabulous trip, I don't think I ever had a mental concept of what the city looked like and it's beautiful. Oh and I'm totally jealous - I hope someday someone sends me somewhere cool (or anywhere, really;-) to write a story!
