The majestic separation of where I am (Texas) and where I want to be (Oklahoma.)

"OOOOOOOOOOklahoma where the wind comes sweepin down the plain!"

The "Endzone Pizza" restaurant located in Downtown Nowata, Oklahoma.

The small town of Cherryvale, Kansas.

Entering Oklahoma, Nowata County, and the city of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma.

Nowata County, Oklahoma.

The turn-off sign at the Subway restaurant we always stop at just north of Owasso, Oklahoma.

Coming up on the Dairy Queen we always stop at in Caddo, Oklahoma.

Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

Suburb just south of Tulsa called Glenpool, where we would always stay at the Best Western Motel.

The Public Service Company of Oklahoma center north of Owasso, Oklahoma.

East of Delaware, Oklahoma.

Noble County, Oklahoma. This photo is taken coming back from Interstate 35, whereas the other photos were taken while we were driving north on State Highway 75/169.

So, this is my first blog. And this is a pretty trivial time of the year to take photos of objects. Everyone has their own different predominant holiday to celebrate. My holiday, Christmas, is usually celebrated by driving 520 miles north into Kansas to visit my uncle, aunt and cousins. Over the past few years, as I have been occupied with photography, I felt somewhat obligated to photograph landmarks and/or signs, rest stops, etc. that remind me about driving to Kansas during this ohh so cherished time of the year. Well, here are some of my personal favorites. Enjoy!
