Day 206: I Am Ready Fantine

In about two weeks, I get to head to Los Angeles with one of my best friends and attend a performance of Les Miserables in concert with the LA Philharmonic Orchestra at the Hollywood Bowl. It just so happens that my favorite male Broadway actor, Brian Stokes Mitchell, will be performing the role of Javert...I cannot wait to hear his rendition of Stars and other songs in this show.

I love Les Miserables. It is definitely in my top 5-6 musicals that I've ever seen. Being able to see it in concert form, with a star-studded cast, at a venue such as the Hollywood Bowl will be quite a treat.

I can't wait! In "preparation", I've been listening to the 10th anniversary concert recording as much as possible. I can't promise that I won't sing along to the show - but I'll try not to sing too loudly!
