Few days ago, this felled tree saw the other side of the most dangerous creature this planet has ever seen, and alas, it was just after the Earth Day Observance!
The reason to fell such a landmark was that, it was used as an alternative parking shelter for the visitor's bikes!!
Nangai was shocked and sad, when coming from the School and seeing the tree, which had by then been reduced to a stub and few logs. She said that it was her favourite tree, that she would lean on its trunk any time, and that at times she would climb up on it too. She added that she never felt afraid on those times.
