Lapua, Finland
We interviewed local people who remember the WW2 and the Hungarian volunteers stationed there in 1940.
We talked to old ladies reminiscent of old times when war was real and not just another documentary film on tv.
Our project reveals facts and bitter-sweet memories of the Hungarians, those foreign strangers who travelled all the way from Hungary to help their finno-ugric "brothers".
The exhibition is open until 21st March 2010 at Hungarian Ethnography Museum in Budapest. CLICK HERE
