revenant Oh dear. I disagree with four languages above... I think the b&w adds mystery, involves the viewer more, brings us closer into the picture. The colour of the water in No. 2 is basic blue. The inky black in No. 1 is far more interesting.

But there is something very good about both...

MouseholeKit I love B&W, but in this particular case I'd go for the colour version
MouseholeKit · 2009-06-20: 07:12
pdsdville Color on this one.
pdsdville · 2009-06-20: 09:20
smbunation Yeah, I think the details are much better in the color version in this shot.
smbunation · 2009-06-20: 09:45
Unchained Mir gefallen beide! In Farbe sind mehr Einzelheiten sichtbar, aber S/W sieht auch toll aus. Ich verstehe Deine Zweifel!

eternity65 · 2009-06-21: 08:01
yumisakurai The golden-brown of lightened side in #2 is beautiful, I think.
yumisakurai · 2009-06-21: 08:32

astrobrojler Vote for colours :)
astrobrojler · 2009-06-21: 14:51
Widcat Both great and it's interesting to see the contrasts between the two.
Widcat · 2009-06-21: 21:47
slowpete colour. Personally I think the B&W is slightly to dark and you lost to much detail
slowpete · 2009-06-22: 02:10
Gerd B&W but I always tend to this ;-) You could use less contrast which makes the picture more detailed
Gerd · 2009-06-22: 14:02
eljapa color , loosing to much detail in the B&W. Like the warm colors but i would clone the stripes away on the right lower side...
eljapa · 2009-06-22: 16:26
facan superb !!!!!!!!!!
