In case you guys are wondering, that's caffeine in her left hand. Quite common in Singapore to "ta bao" or takeaway coffee in styrofoam cups (yes, yes, I know and I bring my own thermos mug).
I remember way back in university when I was a smoker (I've quit for many years now), I would roll my own ciggies, either Drum or Gauloises. I was quite bad with rolling my own cigarettes and as a result my cigarette would burn quite quickly as I would not have "packed in" the tobacco tightly enough and hence there would be too much air in between. As a result, the cigarette went too quickly and the heat of the tobacco strained smoke would hit me too violently at the back of my throat. Until I one day had a "great" idea. I was also a major coffee addict back then so what I did was ground very finely some expresso beans and mixed it with the tobacco. Then I used this mixture to roll my ciggies. The result? A well packed, incredibly smooth smoke. I have no idea how bad that sort of thing is for the health. I can't imagine it to be too good. That was then. This is just a little snippet from my past. I am not encouraging anyone at all to do this. In fact, don't! |
