I was driving home when I saw this scene. I just had to stop and snap some quick pics.
These guys were marinating and bleeding the chickens out in the open for a dinner event tonight. The marinade actually smelled quite good. The chef was very reluctant to tell me the actual recipe of the marinade. However, he did say it contained five spice and vinegar (and I'm sure much more).

Ughh, that is truly gruesome. Well photographed but sorry, I'm not keen at looking at them.
So did you know the animal rights PETA (.org) has offered a million $ to the first people to provide commercial in-vitro chicken? That is, chicken grown in a vat.
