I first met Carol in 1996 or thereabouts. We were both working at Nokia at that time. Although we both joined Nokia earlier, it was only when we had a major reorganisation and they collapsed APAC into one region when we kind of started hanging out in one group.

This group (we were younger then) were notorious for our Friday nights; Nigel Rundstrom, Tai San Tao, Suguna, Mei, Carol being among the "core group"members. Often, it involved Nigel being thrown out of Zouk for unruly behaviour. He's now a father of 3 living in NYC.

Anyway, Carol's done very well for herself in Nokia and now she is based in Beijing. We hadn't caught up for about an year or so since we missed catching up during Chinese New Year earlier this year when she was in Singapore.

Fantastic catch up, this time around.
