When Fukushima Was Paradise

Tonohetsuri in Fukushima (2006)
near Goshiki-numa in Fukushima (2010)
Abukuma-do Cave in Fukushima (2006)
#4-7 : in an aquarium in Iwaki City, Fukushima (2009).
I hear more than 200,000 fish died from power shortage. We can't see these fish again...
Good-bye, jellyfish...
Sayonara, scorpionfish...

Hello my friends all over the world !!

I am very sorry for my long silence. I have been very busy doing my volunteer work since the earthquake occurred. I had no time to reply to your messages.

Your warm words made me really genki(=cheerful, vigorous). I appreciate your kindness from the bottom of my heart !!!

We still have many serious problems -
① The radiation levels are rising.
② Rolling blackouts ( shortage of electricity )
③ Many people have lost their houses and jobs.
④ It's impossible to find 18,000 bodies in the sea.

We are going to approach these problems with a positive attitude but it would take 10 years to reconstruct Japan. Please help peace-loving people and keep in touch as ever !!
malquistfamily beautiful shots. i am so sorry for what you are all going through over there. i am so glad you are okay. take care of yourself and your country is in my prayers.

SADHYA It was so beautiful.
The planet has the power to destroy, but also the power to rejuvenate. It will take time, but surely Fukushima will one day be beautiful and a safe place again.

????? Fantastic post!!
I know many people would like to help out as you are doing, Alas distance makes it somewhat impossible. But I'm sure the whole world is keeping you all in it's thoughts, as am i, and that this may strengthen you all in these hard times.
Take care my good friend!
