Sakura in Silent Spring

We call cherry blossoms 'sakura'.
|
Japanese people have been looking forward to viewing sakura for more than one thousand years. Sakura is very special for us Japanese.
|
The blossoms symbolize many things such as the beginning of spring, rebirth, innocence, purity, a kind of melancholy, short human life, fragility and so on.
|

This bridge was broken by the earthquake on March 11.

The situation at the nuclear plant in Fukushima has not changed for the better since March 11, but our daily life around Tokyo has been getting better gradually.
I coudn't enjoy taking pictures of spring so much this year but spring in Japan is really beautiful. Please visit Japan next year !! (^^)

I'm glad the situation is normalizing, I know that Japan is beautiful, unfortunately it is too expensive for me to spend the holidays there, I am pleased with your photos, thanks for share!
