That is a very interesting set. In almost all pictures, the DOP is really good, I enjoyed it a lot. I really like #13, that is a very powerful portrait. What does that face painting mean ? I also like #19. The design of the kimono (is it a kimono or is there another word for what he is wearing ?) is nice and beautiful. And thanks for the link, it's interesting to learn about your history and culture ! Which lens did you used ? What would you recommend for this kind of festival ? I am usually very bad at taking good photos in crowded places like these so I'd like to learn from you !

Simply excellent set, all pictures are beautiful and it is so interesting to see the traditions of your country. I guess that these must have been the impression of the first portuguese arriving in Japan in the XV century :)) I keep the piture of the geisha's in my FL but all are very beautiful and interesting.

A few days ago I have seen again the movie "The Last Samurai". I know well that many histories of Hollywood are not faithful to the reality. Anyway the Japanese culture continues affecting me. Thanks for sharing!
