Ha! I don't know what you're hoping to get from the forest out here, but most of them are just as dormant in the winter. Plus there's less water. I'd say it challenges you to find something to photograph, others would say it's barren and brown. I like the second photo, the moss on the rocks is quite the contrast from the dark hole with light at the end.
