Portraits By Aleks - Edits

Before

With this one, I used the Imaginomic Portraiture filter, and changed the "warming" to 2.

I then went into the standard PS hue/saturation menu and changed the overall "hue" value to -5 to provide a little additional warming and colour depth.

I then painted over some of the slightly overexposed areas of his face using a low opacity brush. I used the eyedropper tool to choose an area of his face that had the colour and exposure I wanted, and set my brush to that colour.

For this photo, I used the Nik Colour Efex Pro V3 filter set, and applied a warming gold filter at 25% opacity.

I used the above painting technique to correct some areas of overexposure on his face.

Same edits applied.

I do not own the copyright to any of these photos - they were all shot by Aleksandra Freeman, a wonderful photographer from Vermont.
