Both great, the muted understated tones of the colour one add to the drama. The light on the boathouse is terrific and that lovely subtle pink just at the horizon. Hackney or the Congo? "The horror, the horror." as Kurtz once said.

I'm glad that you mentioned Edward Hopper in your profile description. Because having looked through a lot of your posts, his paintings are excactly what your style of photography reminds me of. Very nice work, keen eye for motives, great compositions and awesome colouring, though never over-processed.
