#41 Put me in coach....

I was stumped on what to do today (although I took pictures of the husband and me making 5 lasagnas last night.... I am sure you will miss seeing those pics!) Reading the AJC I was inspired by this article. I don't think many people understand the commitment, sacrafice, passion, etc. of coaches. This article is about football coaches (one of whom holds my heart!) but I think it is true for all coaches. I do not think many people realize it is an 80 hour plus work week and a YEAR ROUND job. Good coaches devote themselves and their time to not only winning ball games, but developing young men and women into better, more well rounded people. In the article one coach says "it consumes your life"! I say "amen" to that... so true! Some people may think this is sad, I say admirable. Family time is something you can't get back and I admire the coaches who find that balance or strive to get that! I think my husband does a wonderful job at being a daddy, husband AND coach!!
