These are very sweet. I like #2 because it shows how tiny he is in his surroundings. But as I was scrolling thru, there was a point where the top was cut off so that he was framed by the black only and I liked that oo. If you are going to do people, I think you should go for a really fast 50mm. An f/1.2 or a 1.4. I've always wanted one of those and they aren't that expensive. P.S. Love the shot of Construction Worker Sissy. :)

I love the close up shots. Wide angle vs 50mm? It depends on what you're after. In this set, I prefer a closer focus.

Such peaceful photographs, especially the one with the large mirror in the top of the frame, showing how tiny a newborn really is in comparision to the rest of the world. :)

Hey you! :0) LOOOOOVE This set! They are fabulous! LOL about the lens issue. You know where I am right now. Actually, to be quite honest.. my all time favorite lens that I own .. and rarely leaves my camera body, is my 24-70mm f/2.8 L . It is a bad momma! lol It's heavy, I belive the lens itself weighs almost 3 pounds.. but it is superb! And I just got my 50mm.. and as you know, I am loving it at as well. I def. like the 50mm when I can get the kiddos to hold still.. the 24-70 is awesome for everything though! Have a fabby evening!!! PS.. when are you guys coming to Destin??? :0)

Love number 2! It really shows the scale of the baby, and his complete dependency on those around him/her

wow number 2 is awesome,,,it gives the idea of how tiny the baby is,,so cute,,,so tender... but i understand that right now number 1 can seem more attractive,,, but in some years that baby will love so much to see how small he was. when my child was about a month i took some shots of him with a big bear,,,he was tiny by the bear lol,,,now he loves watching them ,,comparing how much he has grown holding his bear,,,:)))
