Orpierre (France) - Today's subject: Black & White.
-- Why and when do I use BW (black&white)? Answer: "...mostly to experiment with the BW-effects..."
1. If I want the viewer to 'see' the total image, without having to focus on 1 specific (either distracting) element (such as a RED helmet, or a RED shoe, or a RED shirt, or a RED bottle).
2. If I believe that the colours of an image do not add any extra value (or have no value at all). Sometimes a photo could look even more special in BW than coloured.
3. If I want to put the focus on The Contrast of an image (dark, darker, darkest, ver very dark).
And sometimes the effects suprises me, just like they do now...
