Rock Climbing in Thailand - part 2

2007.11.05
Me, toproping 'Humming a Song' (6b-with-a-major-crack-at-the-end (Escher World/Railey beach)

Yeah, it's hard work... And fun :-)

Wilfred in action in 'Scorpion' (6a / Escher World wall)

Daydreaming? Or belaying?

Cave climbing!! To reach the Taiwan wall - our next climbing wall destination, on the other side of the hill, we needed to cross a dark cave. This was awesome!

And it started to get very very dark...

He, is this the stairway to Heaven??

Cause at the end of the 'tunnel'.....

....Heaven on Earth... (On the left untill middle: Tonsai beach, and from the middle till the right: RAILEY beach)

Cheese!! (And from this point I really wished I could stope time, so I could enjoy the moment for ever...)

Wilfred, toproping a nameless 6a at the other end the cave: Taiwan wall

Me, lead climbing a nameless 5 in Diamond cave. I climbed it so quick and smoothly, it didn't crossed my mind that there is no safety helmet on my head...

Now this is Bouldering at Sea!! (Oh man, do they really have sea snakes in these waters?)

Maybe so, but on the streets near the bushes they really do... (Men, this thing really freaked me out!) And I already once got bitten during this vacation.... though by a Ray fish, but still..)

...Still travelling through Thailand. And having the time of my (vertical) life...
