This is a collection of photos of the City Pier City Running event in my hometown. And these were the most beautiful 10 kilometers of my life. Also it was extra fun to run together with relatives and be supported by them too.
I wasn't suppose to join, due to circumstances. I hardly took the effort to train properly (meaning; I was able to run 6km in a row without having any problems. But I didn't had the motivation or energy to try to train further...)
When I started the race I had a splitting headache (untill about 5km). After that the pain disappeared and I was finally able to enjoy the running. ....And I just kept on going.... Enjoying every step and every move forward - untill the finish line. Just like how running is supposed to be; sets my mind free.

Hee, gefeliciteerd! Ik had dezelfde ervaring met de vijf: bijna twee maanden niets meer gedaan, maar geen enkel probleem om hem uit te lopen. Volgend jaar ga ik voor de tien... :-)
