My first 3-d design (created it in less than 5 seconds). I love it how the material captures the light and at the same time somehow shines through it

On the left: Saskia (a great teacher, inspirator and motivator). At this point I could have stopped. This drawing on the right, shows my fascination for the curling shapes, lines and structure. A big struggle it was to draw this

Today we had to paint one of our self-made-still-life-objects. I could have taken a far more easieser thing (something square sized). But instead, I took this very complicated shape (nr.1)
To draw something very complicated, is like; solving an enormous puzzle (one that's devided into lot's of little tiny ini-mini puzzles - and all somehow connected and related to each other. It's a huge challenge to solve one after the other. Every puzzle contains the same basic question: How do I force my hand to draw what my eyes are seeing? The further I get into it, the faster the ride goes; it becomes more easier when the finish comes in sight.
The only thing is: I'm never sure when that's going to happen. It could happen pretty quick, after 2 hours? Or I could be busy for like 2 days. So you can imagine the great sensation of satisfaction I feel at the end of such (exhausting) creative process. I only got 1hour to complete this painting and I made it. It felt great indeed. And next to this: I got showered with compliments by the teacher and co-students :-)
