Today could quite possibly be classified as perfect. We arrived in the Golden Bay/Farewell Spit area and started the day with a short walk up a hill to a 360 degree view of the Bay, incredible. Not too shabby of a start. We then headed to Wharariki Beach around noon and oh my goodness am I glad that the sun was shinning. I have never seen something so ridiculously beautiful, simply indescribable. Google it, I cannot put it into words.

We got to watch 5 seal pups swim around for a bit at low tide (because they were in this little nook in the rock) SO FREAKIN CUTE! We ended up spending the entire day soaking up the sun and walking around. Perfect day to me ☺

For dinner we went to the Mussel Inn, it had such a fun atmosphere, a little pricey for my liking but it definitely was really good food. We drove back to Motueka for the evening and are now at our campsite where we got another shower! YAY! We are heading towards Greymouth in the morning with a few stops along the way, then on Monday we are going black river/cave rafting, SO stoked!
