Hi hi!

This morning we woke up had a quick breakfast because at around 10:30 our tour bush showed up, well more like van, and we got to meet Gordon our guide for the day! We started the day off right, by stopping at the first winery a little before 11am (it was noon somewhere, right?). The actual tasting was very enjoyable but the winery itself was absolutely gorgeous! I really love the atmosphere of vineyards.

At the next winery we had another tasting and then had lunch. It was so so tasty! After completely stuffing ourselves we continued our tour. The next stop was a cheese and yogurt shop, though I am normally not a cheese person I decided to try almost everything and actually really reeeaaally liked a sharp cheddar cheese with chili spice in it? I certainly am expanding my tastes buds here in Australia!

Afterwards Gordon brought us to another family run winery and after all the samples; the bartender surprised us with a glass of their mulled wine mix. Oh my goodness, SO GOOD! After that winery we stopped at a chocolate factory and cleaned out the free sample bins (you can’t let 20 girls in chocolate factory and expect any less from them). The next stop was at a brewery which I was really excited to go to until I heard they don’t do free samples, so instead I bought a pint of their ONLY German beer, pity they didn’t have a larger selection but it was mighty tasty!

The last stop we had for the tour was a distillery, and I didn’t really put two and two together that it was a place where they make hard liquor. So I was pleasantly surprised to learn what it was! Of course we were served by the youngest bartender there who we immediately won over with our charm and good looks ;) ha I think we got a few more ‘tastings’ than we are actually allowed but whose complaining! Afterwards we got back on the bus/van and headed back to the cottages where we made pizzas and garlic bread with of course a glass of wine.

That night Danny, Jack, and Chris joined us at the cottages and we had a GREAT night playing some good ol’ drinking games—little tippy cup action along with some pong. I am please to report that Kaley and I annihilated Jack and Danny at pong :D

Tootles!
