Catrileo Matias was a Mapuche activist and student that was killed by the Chilean police. The Mapuche of southern Chile have fought for their lands against invading Inca, Spanish and today are still struggling to regain their ancestral lands in the hands of logging companies in southern Chile. Today marks 52 days of hunger strike by political prisoners Mapuche my sympathy and my prayers are with the Mapuche people.
