This bug was very patient with me and didn't seem to mind having a camera share its set of lantana flowers.

(I like the photos better in the larger size.)

**This is some type of small (1cm) stink/shield bug. They are called stink bugs because if you bother them too much, they emit an aroma that is unpleasant! Although some types eat other insects, some are pests. As soon as this one became comfortable with my camera, it began eating my flowers.**

jjimson Great macro. On the one had it looks like the yellow of the flower is fighting for attention but then again, had it not been for the contrasting yellow background, the little bugger might not have stood out. What kinda insect is that? The texture on the back is damn good.
